Why doe he allow us to continue he told Quinn “so you are supposed to kill me”. Why would he let us go on? Is it a game for him? 	We filled Quinn in on what was happening so far and then the group decided we should try and find a boat to get to Narisia. It would be faster. At first they wanted to go forward through Oridal until I reminded them that we were in the southern tip. Now we are going to ~~Halgard~~. Quinn also wants to check out some contacts he has there to find the magician Tam. You know he seems such a selfish boy. He got killed by Manslayer to play at a child’s birthday party. And now he wants to find this Tam. I hope he is related to our whole quest and perhaps Quinn believes it is so. Perhaps Quinn thinks through his ideas – I don’t know he doesn’t share… and I don’t think he ever will with me. 	Gunther led us to the guild of his order in town hoping to get directions from them. He got more than that. The leader of the guild gave him an ordinary helmet from their stores and a letter. 	Travel this time was not pleasant for me. I can’t hunt in Oridal so there is no reason for me to find solitude. Perhaps it wouldn’t be seen as rude if I left for a jaunt with Mica. She seems at ease. We arrived near ~~Halgard~~ today in the border town of Tagren. We did have to pay the leaving town tax. As we passed from Oridal to ~~Halgard~~ we met an Oridallian merchant. I queried him about the taxes and laws in ~~Halgard~~ and he was very forthcoming explaining that he could be since he wasn’t in his homeland. The people here are more interested in action not money. That sounds pleasant. Hunting here is considered poaching… you would have to ask the lord for permission. This sounded much like Valduran used to be. I remember Pops telling me about it I thanked the merchant Theobald Herrick and when he paused gave him the rest of my money. He seemed to be waiting for it. 	We began travelling again today and met with some luck I think. We didn’t quite make it to the next town of Southward so we began to make camp. WE noticed a fire up ahead and went to investigate. Of course I was told not to scout again. Niccolo, Salvazia, Quinn, and Theo did that. I drove the wagon up. Perhaps I should stop asking and just go with my instincts – but I’m not sure they would like that anymore. We met up with Benedict Godart of priest of Baelthor. He was in Ressex the capital city of ~~Halgard~~. Back in Ressex he was mediating between two large families the Dungals and Pomeroys. The Pomeroys are royal that’s the crown. Some rumors had spread that the two families were having problems. The Dungals were more of a band than a family and had a tendency to be military. It was not unusual for families to have problems, but about 6 months ago some Nadarans spies were found in the palace and claimed they were hired by Dungals. Later Nadarans were found in Dungals and said the Pomeroys had hired them. Things got rough…Benedict came in to mediate the dispute. He says it is not real easy around here… can’t be solved with wrestling it gets real hard. The two families were about to draw arms when he found a Nadaran himself – he got the name of Drizz’t Piergeron out of the spy. Had a bit a luck he had just left town.. and this Drizz’t’s tracks were still fresh. He had been following for six days…and now here he is. 	So we have a destination now. We will head off to the ~~Hartland~~. First we will stop in Eisennstaadt to sell some of the gold Gunther has. Agni still possesses the groups money and somehow I doubt if we will see it again. The others went off to gather their things and Gunther Roxanne and I were left alone. An hour passed while we debated religion. Perhaps she felt cornered by two who believe in similar morality. Both Gunther and I tried to impress upon her that we did not condemn her or anyone their path – just we can disagree with it. It started over her prostituting herself. I don’t think neither Gunther or myself have the morality to understand this act. She sees it as similar to our selling our weapons and armour we create. I just cannot connect the two of those at all. From their it went into our religions. She actually said that Baelthor didn’t care about evil. Perhaps she has not yet studied where Baelthor chose to build his hall. Shortly Niccolo returned , Gunther and Roxanne headed off. I spoke with Niccolo about telling Gunther the whole truth about Simone. He doesn’t want to. I get rather distant feelings from Niccolo recently . My hand feel tied. I cannot, it seems, repair the damage done in the caverns about Salmarisa. She is winning this battle. I only hope my Pops through their training was able to make some ground in that arena. The son was watching and came up to beg his dad to hire them. Others performers who are known get around 5-50-500 silver. The 500 is an illusionist. The will meet at his estate in one weeks time. Quinn accepts it! So here we are in the middle of a quest to find out what plague is in the ~~Hartland~~ and Quinn takes a job at a birthday party!! This group is not working together. Yes we stopped for training – but a birthday party. Could he not have done something like this during his time off? Does he need money that desperately?? Does he have some other motive??? Of course we don’t know that -- -why would we--- no one trusts each other save me and Gunther and we aren’t particularly interesting enough to cause much commotion which is odd coming from a one eyed girl whose constant companion is a fire breathing mountain lion. How will we ever survive the journeys we must have ahead of us? In any event it us decided and when he is done Agni will retrieve them with the ring and bring them to us. Of course they could die during the teleportation but if they want to risk their lives than Agni will do it he supposes.
