To the people of [[Seahaven]] he is the sombre, unsettling old cleric of [[the Sepulchral Lantern]], the city’s most ancient temple, who records the names of the drowned and sets their lanterns adrift each winter; that is all most of them will ever know of him. In truth he is one of the quiet powers of the [[Cthos|Church of Cthos]]. He watches, he records, and he waits... for when a decision is reached, it is final.
|description= A gaunt, gray man of sixty-six, tall and stooped, wrapped in the black, white, and gray robes of his Church, the yew-carved symbol of his Order worn where few could name it. His face is a careful blank and his eyes are cold and patient and very old. He moves slowly, for his body is failing him, but no one who has met that gaze mistakes the frailty for weakness. He carries a reaper’s scythe, the symbol of [[Cthos|Cthos the Doomsayer]], and he carries it as a man who knows how to use it.
