Feldosha is the surviving heartland of ancient [[Ulanthar]], thought by some to be the first human empire, older even than [[Aebasa]]. According to legend, when the sacred river Ulan rose and reclaimed the land, the empire's cities sank into flood and silt, and its people were left as diminished heirs.
