Overview
Narbonese Human male, 36 years old. Abelard is a descendant of many notable explorers and a noted explorer in his own right. With his father, Jean deMontagne, he explored beyond the battle lines of the Mabean Marches in 1239 IC and lead an expedition into the Plains of Tazgrat himself in 1248. Of this last expedition, only himself and a scout, Tereska Darja, survived. In 1250, in recognition of his achievements and loyalty to the crown of Narbonne, he was appointed Narbonese Ambassador to the Prefect of the Mabean Marches. Known for his flamboyance even in Narbonne, Abelard is nevertheless reputed to be an able swordsman and courageous adventurer.
