- A group of red-haired barbarians known as the Medellans attack a fairly insignificant outpost on Camaria’s western frontier. The Camarians soon retaliate by attacking a township believed to have initiated the raid, but soon realize the Medellans had been unified under an Imperial exiled wizard known as the Archmage Veseverus. War is declared, but Veseverus and his Medellans prove more organized than Camaria had planned for and Camaria soon finds itself outmatched and losing the war.
