Overview
Narbonese Human male, 36 years old. Abelard was a descendant of many notable explorers and a famous explorer in his own right. With his father, Jean deMontagne, he explored beyond the battle lines of the Mabean Marches in 1239 IC and lead an expedition into the Plains of Tazgrat himself in 1248 IC. Of this last expedition, only himself and a scout, Tereska Darja, survived. In 1250 IC, in recognition of his achievements and loyalty to the crown of Narbonne, he was appointed Narbonese Ambassador to the Prefect of the Mabean Marches. Known for his flamboyance even in Narbonne, Abelard was nevertheless reputed to be an able swordsman and courageous adventurer.
