Brogg “Cinderjaw” Cinderjaw is a towering orc Warcaptain of fearsome legend, known across the Pirate Isles for his scorched jaw clamped in blackened steel and his merciless hatred of gods and chains alike. Once a branded and burned as a prisoner of Koramia, he rose from the ashes of torture to become a blasphemous firebrand of Tamerynd Isle, captaining the dread fleet known as the Ashwake Reavers. His flagship, the Firemaw, is a floating engine of ruin that leaves charred coastlines and crucified clerics in its wake. Brogg leads with unrelenting force and molten fury, forging loyalty through fear and defiance. To his followers, he is a liberator; to his enemies, he is a demon in iron, the embodiment of fire unbound.

Overview
Brogg Cinderjaw is a brutal, unrelenting Warcaptain whose very presence reeks of smoke and rebellion. Towering, scarred, and clad in scorched black plate, his lower jaw is fused with seared steel. Now, Brogg burns with a volcanic hatred for empires, priests, and any who preach submission. As commander of the Ashwake Reavers, he leads from the prow of the Firemaw, setting harbors ablaze and toppling coastal shrines in the name of raw freedom. His personality is volcanic - violent, cunning, and charismatic in a fearsome way - drawing followers who crave destruction and an end to chains. Brogg respects only strength and resolve, mocking diplomacy as the coward’s leash. Among the Warcaptains, he is the hammer of vengeance: crude, fiery, and utterly unstoppable.
Description
Brogg speaks only in guttural, clanging speech through his metal jaw, his voice a rasping hiss of hate. Yet, among his fleet and loyalists, he is revered not as a tyrant, but as a liberator: the breaker of chains, the smelter of false idols, and the prophet of fire. His flagship, the Firemaw, trails black smoke and molten pitch, a floating volcano of vengeance.
Background
A monstrous figure even among pirates, Brogg Cinderjaw is an orc of immense size and brutal presence, known for his charred lower face and the steel-jawed prosthetic that clamps over what remains of his mouth. A former warrior from the tribes of the Orcish Wastes, Brogg was captured, branded, and burned by Koramian paladins — but broke his chains, slew his captors, and vanished into the Betshaban Ocean. His return came years later at the helm of the Firemaw, laying waste to coastal temples and crucifying priests and paladins of Vortumnus in defiance of divine justice.
